It is the dam of a checked–up lake formed as a result of the blocking of the Taiyi River valley by collapsed rocks.It is about 200 meters high with a falling gradient of 40 degrees. The winding path up the hill has many turns, hence its name the 18 Bends. Atop the dam you may feast your eye Heavenly Pool and the Rock Sea.
